I live in Alaska. Does anyone have any information about having eggs shipped. I ordered some out of state, none of them hatched, but I thought it had to do with my incubator, because they developed but didn't pip. It was also in the spring and they came part way in an unheated mail truck (I thought they would be flown all the way) Someone told me that the elevation does something to the eggs, and it wasn't good to have them shipped by plane. Does anyone have any experience with this? I wanted to get some runner duck eggs, but have only been able to find Black Swedish and Runner Duck mixed here in Alaska.
