I sent some eggs from Oregon to New Jersy and some are hatching,I sent some a 5 hour drive away and none developed.Isnt that just crazy,I guess its because the E.coast ones didnt have to go thru the Portland post offices

Some people need to be reminded of the odds more often I think!

It may also be the incubation practices of those that received them. I mailed two rounds of eggs to a person last year and neither hatched for them, while I was having 90% hatches from the same pen. I was travelling past where they lived and dropped off more. Guess what? They didn't hatch either.
