Yeah, I'd like to know how shipping eggs worked for surprising folk w/fresh eggs!

Is there laws pertaining to shipping eggs for consumption throughout the States?

I would think so - maybe same laws as shipping eggs for hatching - eggs coming from healthy birds and maybe need npip certification to send them. Maybe I am way off track.
