I guess I am blessed in that my local PO is very chicken friendly. They always check to may sure my chicks are alive and call me at the crack of dawn when I get a shipment. Of course I live in the middle of farm country and, while I do live in "town", many of my neighbors have chickens. Now, I wouldn't dare try mailing eggs in the big town. Between the PO workers and the throngs of college students I am sure it would turn into a huge ordeal.
