Saw this on eggbid, this guy says he can ship a peacock and 5 peahens in one BOX !!!!!!!!!! now these are full grown birds .....a peacock with full train & 5 breeder peahens ????????????????????????????????

I checked his feedback ,one was for one that didn't even sell....

I have shipped breeders with full train, a pair at best in a swan box..

This is the same guy who says he has Apricot peacocks. But of course he is sold out for the year!

Apricot, now that would be REAL RARE.......just the weight of that many birds would break out the bottom of the box.

The two I just got were shipped in the big horizon box. I guess it was the biggest one? It was 3 feet by 2 by 2 or so. one more may have fit but they would have been pretty cramped I think.

So true Sharon, and thats 2 yr olds....yes three could be shipped in cool weather..the box even have weight limits marked on the sides.

A swan box is the largest box horizon makes 40 lb is the max. weight for it. Three mature hens is the most I would try to ship in one. There is no way to ship 6 mature peafowl without stacking them on top of each other. I shipped a trio of two year old last week and I would have not try to put another bird in there. This guy said he has shipped 6 mature birds over 3 dozen times without a problem
