MPC sent mine out on Tuesday evening, got to my PO Thursday at noon. I was worried about them but they were fine- plenty of gro-gel still in the box. Heating pad was cold by then but my temps were in the 80-90s so they were A-OK. I like the way they make a little nest in the box for them to reduce shipping stress.
One tip- if you want to pick them up at the PO (which is best, they get home faster) have the hatchery put the post office's address on the box, not your home address. Our post office lady was a real
PITA and insisted that if our home address was on the box then it
HAD to go in the delivery truck and be brought to our house. Your mail lady may be nicer, but that's what I ran into...
All 6 of my chicks are still doing well and eating like crazy a week later!
