A comment about shipping prices. A friend of mine Benny, I told him I got a Email from Pigeondepot.com that shipping prices doubled. His reply was that he shipped 1 bird for $38 Texas to Puerto Rico received on Friday 6-28-19) Email I got... PigeonDepot.com has maintained the $55 shipping for the last few years but with the new shipping cost we cannot ship nor can the sellers ship for $55. Pigeondepot is changing the shipping fee to $120. The website will be updated to reflect the new shipping charges.
On 23-Jun-2019, USPS has changed the shipping costs on packages including live birds. USPS now weighs the box and then takes the dimensions of the box. The new shipping fees are roughly more than double to ship than the old charges. It used to cost roughly $55 and now costs around $120.

Hope everyone had a nice Independence Day! My question is if anyone has recently shipped birds, or had birds shipped to them? I heard something about the shipping charges suddenly becoming insanely expensive... is this true???
