Shirley Temple has one eye closed

Shirley Temple, the pride and joy of our house, seems to have an eye problem. I can't see any infection, redness, or anything suspicious. She just closes her left eye. But is able to open it.

Give it a few days?

Maybe an injury? I've seen a similar thing in dry fowl pox, but this isn't half as scabby.
