I've lost chickens to a hawk, a bobcat, and dogs. It's awful. Some of us have a close bond with our chickens and having them killed by predators is very traumatic. I'm so sorry you had to experience this.

Bless you Chicken Obsessed! I just can't imagine the hawk or the bobcat attack. So sad and my heart goes out to you and your flock. I am from michigan, we have as far as I know, fox, coyote, racoon, weasels, possoms and dogs ..i really like our neighbors dog..just an accident that hopefully doesnt happen again. Peace
