So I posted a while back about my bator getting up to 108... well the temps was really unstable alot of the time ranging from 93 up to 104... but wanted to at least give them a chance.. well hubby called me yesterday and said they were hatching... so far out of 24 have 2 chicks and 3 pipping..Im am really in shock! Kinda glad I didnt toss them now....

What kind of bator do you use? What kind of thermometer? Congratulations on your hatch!!

My hubby made it out of a cooler just to see of he could lol... I really never thought it would work... but this will be the one and only batch in it.. the thermometer I got at walmart and has the humidity on it too..

I think your thermometer is inaccurate. This is the kind I use, and they seem to be very accurate. I also have added a small computer fan to achieve a uniform temperature throughout the bator. Without a fan you can have hot or cool spots.

Cool ty... dont think I will incubate anymore... may just sell the eggs or eat them lol
