Yeah that pop is a sickening sound especially when you have your brand new cell phone in your pocket! Eggs fry the phones fast, but I did manage to keep it working for a few weeks. One by one the functions stopped working! We even tried to open the phone to get it cleaned out, but one screw was striped, and the darn phone wouldn't open!

I let 2 chicks go to sleep on me and when I stood up my shirt was no longer white

I was working on my chicken coop, and decided to check the nest boxes before I went to work. An even dozen! I was excited. So I gathered them up and put them on my Chicken TV chair. My puppy was under the chair snoozing. So I got back to the coop, doing the work I had to do.

So I got done, I was hot and sweaty. Went over to my chair, and scratched on the puppy still snoozing. I turned around, looked at my new gorgeous coop, and decided to sit and look at my handi work.

oh my god....you haven't lived until you've sat on a dozen eggs.

As I was going into my hen house to collect eggs I thought I felt something drop on my head but after brushing my hand over my hair I forgot about it. I was looking in the egg nest when I noticed one of my girls in the loft to my right. She was pacing back and forth, turning her head to get a good look at me and I thought "she looks like she s going to jump on my head!" a split second later she did. I came flying out of the hen house like my rear was on fire. My mom didn't know what I was more upset about the hen or the huge grasshopper in my hair.
