Hi, I have 7wk old black australorps and a couple of weeks ago I noticed 1 of them spends a lot of time just sitting. I have been keeping an eye on her and she is a little smaller than the rest but is eating and drinking with the rest of the girls. I noticed she seems to be walking funny and it looks like her legs are too short! Is there something I can do for her?

Could you have maybe gotten a black japanese bantam? They have extremly short legs? Other than that, I just don't know. Sorry.

I guess I should get some pictures up. I don't think she's that much smaller. I am still worried about her. I keep checking to see how much meat is on her breast bone. She is a little thin but not bad. Do bantums tend to just sit a lot?
