How long does it take to have your birds tested in order to be safely taken to poultry shows? I am trying to make the Susquehanna Poultry show on March 20th; is that possible?

I think its 90 days but I dont quite know what you mean, the heading says shots then testing I think you mean pullorum testing..In NYS it is done by inspector in Pa you do it yourself..The certificates are good for a year ours are done in june and we use the certs all fall at shows or selling chicks..Its not hard to do but your going to need a helper and you have to re-pen the chickens until all that you are showing are cleared in the test. You need to buy the testing supplies which I dont think cost all that much ..

Are you talking about Pullorum/Typhoid (P/T) and Avian Influenza (AI) testing?
