I'm going to I'm using it temporaily until I get a feeder. I went to TSC yesterday they only had the bottom to the feeder and no tops. They said check back tomorrow they were getting a shipment in then. If I had a nickel for every time I heard that.
Im thinkin' 7L advised removing that plate/lid as that plastic may be just a lil slippery for their lil legs? what say ye' 7L?
top of a mayo jar or mason jar will decrease the slippery suraface area and still keep the food rounded up for ya.
first couple days, I usually sprinkle food on the towels/paper towels and change them every 2 days or so. after a week, we move em up to the feeders- which they eat, sleep, and eat some more in (amongst other things)
if ur in Florida, round gator country, I have a few extra galv. steel feeders you can have. slide by.
