before Hubby even talked to me, he spoke to her on the phone and told her to go ahead and take 6 of them.

Now I have to email a few people back and say that there is only 2 left.
She is coming all the way from OCALA and on her way here now. Once she gets here Im going to ask her, since it really strikes me as odd, why she wants 4 puppies all at once for herself. That's alot to handle.
Hubby did say she sounded really nice on the phone. Her mom, which she is giving 2 of the puppies to, is in ORLANDO and she is leaving right away from there as soon as she picks them up. 2 for her mom, sounds about right but 4 for just her, that strikes me as pretty odd. We will see what she says and I will let everyone know.

Since she lives so far away id write some sort of contract saying if she didnt treat them right you will take them back and that she must send pics and phone calls almost monthly. Just becuz people some nice doesnt mean they really are.

The lady came by and took ALL 8 puppies and she wanted MAMA too but unfortunately MAMA ran off somewhere but she said she will come back and get her later on this week. She gave us the vet information and all of them are scheduled to be FIXED, SHOTS, WORMED, The whole 9 yards Tomorrow morning. 2 of them are going to her mom in orlando. She said she doesn't know how many she is keeping but she has a farm and is training the pups to herd livestocks and protect chickens (EXACTLY what I want them to go home to). The ones that she doesn't keep, are going to family members for Xmas. As for Mama, she said she will take her off our hands since she can obviously see that we are in a real tight hole.

I feel like CRYING! I miss my babies ALREADY! I was basically raising them as much as Mama was. I bottle fed the tiniest ones. I didn't realize it would be so hard letting them go.

She also said that if no one comes by to get BOB, she will take him as well.

I am not sure how giving 4 puppies a home is being a puppy mill. A puppy mill is a place that has multiple females giving birth at the same time in horris, squalid conditions.

I'm very aware about what a Puppy Mill is. My point about the puppy mills was - sometimes puppy mill breeders are looking for free/cheap puppies to set up for breeding. I think its fairly unusual to take 6 to 8 puppies at a time. If this truly is a happy ending - no one could be happier than I am - except the OP and her husband.I was just offering my opinion. I hope that things for the OP get better soon. Life is pretty scary and uncertain for a lot of people right now. Let's hope things take a turn for the better real soon.
