Thanks for the comments. I have a question though...since I'm not sure which hen it came from (and I did by some sex links and they were black when little) would this be one of them? I really wanted more hens!!

Same batch...have one that pipped and zipped but has a lot of blood around membrane and not chirping like the other one was...Can it be saved...if so what do I need to do????
Sex links won't pass that trait to their offspring as they're hybrids themselves but there are other ways to produce sex links on your own.. And depending on breed of roo and hen you might be able to feather sex. It looks like your new addition hatched from a white or light cream color egg. I'd start there in identifying the hen that laid the little guy/gal.
