Should i assist?

This is the last guy. They are under a broody. Has been trying to hatch since morning. I started a thread asking a sound it was making. Someone said the sound was from the chick ziping the egg but now that i can see it now its just the chick opening and closing his mouth that makes it. Should i assist this guy? The broody doesn’t seem bothered about him much the others are about 2 days old now. Its day 23

I would leave it under her. Let momma help it. She will do a better job helping it than you. Sometimes eggs just take a lot longer than others. Hope this little one is ok!

Yeah that is why i asked cuz it has been really long fir this one. He was the same in the morning and now it’s midnight its still the same no progress

Nature will do it's thing IMO. Other people might have different views than me but I would just leave it. Once when I was looking at a pipped egg and I gave it back to the hen she stepped on it and killed it, I felt awful so now I don't play with their eggs anymore.
