I have 4 hens 26 weeks old ... 2 wyandottes and 2 easter eggers . The 2 Wyandottes amd 1 EE have been laying for 3 weeks but the other EE (head hen) who has been squatting and showing signs of laying hasn't layed yet.
Should I be concerned ?

Advice please

EE are basically mutts so each one will start at a different time, I've had them not start until 7 months, so give her time, and I would keep them on grower until she lays, with a separate bowl of oyster shells.

Just finish feeding the grower then switch to layer when it's empty.. no use wasting feed.. she's ok I'm sure.. it's getting shorter days now so you might need some light in there to keep them laying
