should i be worming my flock?

I am wondering should I be working my chickens? Or treating the for lice? Do I put them on any preventive meds? My first flock is 14 months...my newbies are ten weeks. I did have an outbreak of coccydia last August and lost one hen before I realised what was wrong. Will my newbies get Coccydia? Are the older hens immune since they were exposed already?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. At least that's my approach with my chickens. I've never wormed my chickens. Until this year I've never had to treat for mites, either. I did see some on a hen this spring so did treat her. I just don't like to use chemicals on my chickens if I don't have to. If I ever see sign of worms or anything, then I would worm them.
