Should i be worried about mosquitoes?

We live near a creek, and the creek is normally bone dry. But we've gotten so much rain this spring that there's a lot of water, pretty much standing in the creek (i know that doesn't sound right, but it's true).....and thus we have an alarming mosquito population right now.

Should i be concerned about my chickens?

If yes, is there something natural i can do to protect them?

I appreciate any advice you can share. Thank you!

I'd like to know the answer to this question too..I have noticed alot of Mosquitoes around my runs.

They can get Fowl Pox from them.

I know I put moth balls out around my coop and they have decreased big time.

Oh yes mothballs are very toxic...I make little boxs for the mothballs where nothing can eat them.
