Good! They're on their way to hatching as well then. Do you have the brooder ready to go?Actually my last three that need to pip- their air cells have drawn down A LOT since I drew them 32 hours ago!

Yes I do! (The temporary one as of this moment- it’s lined with a soft towel) I’m going to run to Home Depot today for a large tote which will be their real brooder. I have the wood chip bedding, water and food bowls, duck starter and chick grit.Good! They're on their way to hatching as well then. Do you have the brooder ready to go?
If you have a tray to put under their water, it will save the bedding which they tend to wet constantly. Do you have a heat source? Plate or lamp?Yes I do! Yes! Have a small cookie tray that I’m going to cover with wire mesh put against the one side/end then bumper with a cusion that I cover with plastic wrap 1/4” thick! Yeas they have a lamp too!!! My safety egg hole- she finally externally pipped!!!! All by herself! I’m so happy! So As of now- I have 5/10 external pippers!!!If you have a tray to put under their water, it will save the bedding which they tend to wet constantly. Do you have a heat source? Plate or lamp?
So everyone is in the stages they should be at! I have 2 that internally pipped 8 -10 hours later and I have (1) that internally pipped after her (discovered this morning) and (2) that still need to internally pip (they’re air sacs drew larger, so they needed more time)! Everyone is going GREAT! If I have a 10/10=100% hatch, with a fake bator, no wet bulb thermometer and a finicky temp thermometer, being a first time Hatcher at the drop of a dime, no planning prior and I somehow swing a perfect hatch- all my time and effort will have paid off and I will be so, so greatful!Yes! Yes!! She zipped and was out of that shell on her feet in 2 minutes!! She didn’t even flap on the ground- or lay down! She’s so healthy and strong! She’s been peeping away since and waddling all over! She hasn’t even rested! That's great!
@JaeG How is everything going over there?!@AgnesGray my safety hole baby just hatched all by herself!!!!!
I just discovered a 3rd external pip!!!
I drew the air cells after I discovered the internal pip to see if they will be externally pipping properly- however yes- I candled every night since I did the first candle and they’ve correctly matched the “duck egg air sac diagram” to the T, now looking back. In my response prior to this- I posted a thread thinking they were 18-22 days old. I was second guessing myself on their age based upon the simulated duck egg candle chart thinking they could be at day 18 (at time of Guess my egg age post), but thought they should have been at day 22 based on air sac development and size.
