Should I be worried. Pic included

Hi. My baby chick finally hatched but I noticed something hanging around the navel area.. Should I be worried?

It happens, and will dry and fall off. When I remove mine to put in the brooder(after the hatch time is over) if its still there I clip it off with a pair of scissors.

No, it's the fully absorbed yolk sac. It will fall off as soon as the chick is fluffed out. Exactly what you want to see. Problems can occur if it's large and not absorbed.

Ah Thank you. This is the first chick thats successfully hatched for me so im totally besotted. Id be devastated if it was something serious
