Should i be worried

Ok so I'm.New to chickens ...it's kinda something ive always wanted to try and my county just approved people with under 80,000 sq feet to get backyard chickens with 5,000 sq feet per chicken anyway I got 4 ..I plan on no more then 4 . I was reading a post about how hens can let out loud warning crows ..I'm totally worried my neighbors are going to freak out. There is land between us ..I'm in my ordnance too but what do any other back yard chicken keepers think or know..

My hens make "cute" noises...never heard them make any noises that would upset neighbors. They may yell if they see a predator but i havent had that experience.

If you're really worried about relations with neighbors, have a chat with them, maybe offer them some eggs.

My neighbor was actually hoping we'd get some roosters as she said she enjoys the crowing, but I don't want the crowing myself.

If you’re within the ordinance I would think you have no worries. Our city requires permits (free) so I don’t think anything about it when they get loud with the laying song. Have 2 RIR and a NHR and boy are they loud talkers!

As stated pass out a few eggs now and then.

Even female birds can be loud, especially pullets that are close to point of lay.
