Should I be worried

One of my light Brahmas started laying at 10.5 month on Feb 22. She laid fine at first and good size eggs. She laid the 22, 24, 26 and 27. Then march 1-4 in a row. No egg the 5th then laid the 6th and 7 in the morning.

Well Mon night, the 7th, she laid a shell less egg (well guessing she'll less. It was just the lining that is inside the shell holding it together) when she was on the roost. This was around 10pm, I watched back on my camera. She didn't lay the 8th which I expected since that egg came out the night before.

Then she took the 9th off. Yesterday, the 10th, she went in the nest box in the am and back in again early afternoon. I got home from work and no egg. This morning I noticed an egg on the poop board again. Well this seemed more soft shell as it was a bit crunchy feeling but didn't have a full shell, but it was still egg shape and had whites and a yolk. That was at the backside of the roost. Then I found this, picture below, on the front side of the roost. It is basically parts of a shell.

She eats all flock good, has access to oyster shells. I have 6 others the same age and none of the others have done this. Is it something to worry about or just working out kinks where she is a new layer?

She also went in the nest box today but didn't lay at all

New Layers have hiccups sometimes
Yes I have read that so wasn't sure if these were just some hiccups or something to worry about where she laid fine for a couple weeks. Then basically this whole week has had issues. Hopefully tomorrow she is back normal for me.

It really is nothing to worry about. It really is not normal, but not uncommon for birds to lay eggs like this. Generally they will go through a spell, just like what you have described, and then they will quit and lay perfectly normal eggs

Often times people will say add calcium or oyster shell, but truthfully, it will clear on its' own if you do nothing. And really there is no way of stopping it until it does clear on its own.

Thanks. I knew I read it could happen here and there, but I wasn't expecting it at night on the roost and didn't think it would happen twice in a row so that is when I got nervous. Hopefully she will figure it out soon. She seems to be laying at least 3 in a row so hopefully no shockers tonight on the roost and she will lay like normal in the nest box tomorrow for me!

Wonders if maybe she is not consuming the OS?
not sure. I have a camera in there and have seen some over there but I have 2 light Brahma's (I did put a bit of blue food coloring on her head to tell who is who but sometimes depending on light you can't see it) so can't say for sure if she has been at it or not. I do give crushed up egg shells at times too but not often since I normally do one big breakfast meal a week sometimes longer between them.
