Should I be worried?

My rouen duck started to lay eggs 1 1/2 weeks ago and she seem to lay one every other day. But she hasn't had an egg in 2 days, should I be worried? I live in Indiana and the temps have dropped the last couple of days, could that be why?

From what I've read Rouen at best lay about 100 eggs a year, so I don't think it's anything to worry about. They were breed to be more of a meat bird than an egg layer.

Thanks Froggie!

I guess I was getting spoiled! My family of four each got a over easy duck egg this weekend for the first time (saved them all week)

They seem to be more filling than chicken eggs.

LOL Duck eggs are great! We were spoiled for a while when all 8 of our girls were laying an egg a day. Then 4 went broody and all went through a molt and we were only getting 2 a day. We are back up to 6 a day and 4 girls are still to young to lay. But we have ducks that are great layers. Khaki Campbells, Indian runners and Swedish.
