Should I be worried?

Have one of my 7 week old male Coturnix jumping and running backward

I caught him up and looked him over and he is bright eyed, his vent is nice and clean, his poo that he put all over me is nice and normal, and everyone else in the pen is behaving normally.

He is also strong and feisty.

About the only thing that sets him apart from the rest is his rump feathers being slightly floofed.

As he and most of his clutch mates are due for dinner next week it would be a shame if he missed it

Must say that my first lot of growers bounce round their cage like demented jumping beans but his behavior stood out in the crowd for oddness.

Quail are so funny, arnt they
