Should I be worried?

Today i got a chicken egg and when i came in the room to turn it i saw that it had like a crack/dent. What should i do? PLEASE HELP

I really want it to hatch

Please give me advice

You can do a search on BYC or google for "wax" to coat hatching egg cracks...someone has done this.


If it is a brand new egg I'd not use it. I'd use the wax to save a baby already developing, though. I have not done this myself. You would need to be careful not to burn the baby in the egg.
