Lol..... I need something that goes well with Bitty. (I had twin bantam buff Cochins Itty and Bitty but one was snatched by a predator)

FOUR!!
The coop was in need of cleaning. It was stinky. I guess deep litter only works if you stir things up. Since it has been warm out, the girls just poop in there. There were 2 rows of chicken poop and P U!!

I used some sweet PDZ for the first time today and put in fresh pine and straw. We have had a huge melt off and the yard is becoming a swamp.

DH and I spent the day looking at flooring and bathroom stuff. Its a bit overwhelming. Its time for some much deserved ICE CREAM!!!!

love that rooster lindz! I was thinking Shaloub and Bitty ... google Tony Shaloub and Bitty Schram, oh heck, just google Monk

we're due to be hammered by the blizzard over the whole week. 5-8 inches tomorrow as it's not supposed to get heavy til afternoon, but 8-12 on Tuesday will stink because I'm learning a new route in a new town. for the first day to be a blizzard is not good. then we're due to get roughly 3" more everyday for the rest of the week. I wish I could call in sick. I almost am sick anyway, just with the stress of the storms. ugh.

I crashed hard this afternoon for some unknown reason and blew my whole day with the flock. didn't get out to pick up the hatching eggs either. I'll get them tomorrow afternoon hopefully... depends on the storm.

18-28 inches predicted here. We already have a blizzard warning. Will work from home for prob at least the next few days. Stocked up on some lanterns as light was our only concern after will fill buckets ( hubby has a big 150 gallon one). Heat isn't an issue w the stoves so should be good to go if we lose power.

Today I realized that getting the generator fixed was useless. Not only did we not get a new battery for it, but it is in the garage. Which I can't find the key for. The snow between here and there would be a problem, but I would have brought it into the covered porch tonight if I could have. Even if the tires had gone flat again, I would have worked it over to the house (duh! If I wanted to stay warm I would have to!). Oh well. With no animals, I could always go to someone else's house that has power.
No one knows who plowed my drive. Just glad it was done. :-D wondering if they will be back tomorrow evening!
Dh is in Johnstown, NY tonight.
