aww MC, that's just not fair at all! still, hope the jobs all get done on time...

so. I have a disgusting problem now. Esther is eating her newest hatches. not just the one I have in the house, she killed 2 more and 1 of them was 2 days old already. there were two more eggs with pips and peeping, they are in the heating pad, but I don't think they'll make it. I keep checking on her to make sure she isn't doing it to any others, so far, she seems defensive of them all. makes me sick. poor babies.

Debby, yes, all those photos are of my area - the collection is a close up view of what brings the Catskills and the Hudson Valley to life! took me 6 months to capture the "Bee Butt" photo, after I had seen someone else's version... the other photographer's pic looked like a piece of ginger wrapped sushi with a stinger, really cool... it inspired me - I've now got quite a collection of bee photos, and lots of cute little butts sticking out of flowers. that was my first, and is still my favorite.

I'm still working on the sizing of the enlargements. don't want to over-enlarge and pixelate... this layout work is a real JOB! I just want the fun part... taking the pictures

ohhh cheeka...i'm so sorry...could it be the heat? I know it's hot down here, mine are all walking around with their little beaks open....not that they are thirsting for water, I have containers all over the place...it's just HOT!

she's been behaving with the 7 she has. she was up to 10. I have 1 and 2 ugh... gross. and of the 2 remaining. one quit. the other has been working hard and has the start of an external pip. I don't know how this will work tho'. I have a very long day tomorrow. and no chick sitter. poor babies

Okay, here are some pictures. I will start with how it looks when I'm not nitpicking. Then I will show you the biggest problem (sloppy caulking around the window) and another problem I am hoping to have fixed. I had been asked during the first visit if I wanted the surround to extend to the wall. I said no. This looks rediculouse to me, and I'm hoping something can be done. There are other places where caulking needs scraped. Along the floor and there is a smudge of caulking extending a few inches below the right shelf.
The manager was here for most of the project (he was on the phone most of the time dealing with other things). He YELLED at me. Not kidding. I said I was offended by the first guy mocking the window sill. He denied it repeatedly and said he could play me a video. Uhhhhh... Videoing me in my home is illegal. I told him that, but he kept insisting that I had nothing to be offended by. Couldn't he just be nice, and say, "I'm sorry you were offended"? THAT is all it would have taken. He finally conceded (still wondering if he really had a video. I think he did) that it might have happened. He also got nasty about some other things. This is why I hate saying anything to anyone. He was hired by me. I am his employer, not his employee. How am I supposed to deal with people that mouth off at me? Especially one that is a one time hire?
BTW, as annoying as this day was, it wasn't totally horrible. Things went wrong, but I'll live. I'm venting... And I really want to know how to grow a pair. I have no idea how I'm supposed to complain about the manager, but he really shouldn't have yelled at me for saying I was offended.

it looks nice MC, but yeah, I see the window... and no one should be yelling on the job or being rude - perception is everything. if you perceive it to be offensive, it's offensive, that's the end of the story.

so... I have a new hatch. would be best to go see the pics on Group of Seven... chick hatched in my bra. not x rated or anything... but one posting is enough... lol

and you have lovely ladies all around..,..looked at your finished photo book last nite....AWESOME! I love how we can live vicariously thru another's eyes...how it takes us to places we will prob. never see ourselves, but for your willingness to share with us!! THANK YOU!
