Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

y'know W4W, my legs have been bugging me for years. always sort of vague and diffuse... I have old skiing injuries tho' and with the antibiotics plus another new med it seems to be making it very clear that it's my knees. left in particular. I quit downhill skiing 10-11 years ago because I needed to protect my knees. looks like I might be in need of intervention on this now tho'. going to the doc on 10/8. see if I can get an MRI ordered or something to start - gotta know what all is going on in there because they don't just crack anymore (like they have since I was what...10?) it's deep, it's painful and involving my sciatic nerve at this point. from back to toes on the left side, every dang step is a 10 on the pain scale. getting out to deliver parcels is torture and I have to smile and not cry. I can limp a little tho'...

eta, good luck with the respiratory issue, that's no fun to be dealing with! glad the others haven't been affected so far, that's a very good sign of resistance.

Ouchy knees and sciatica. That is no fun. Fingers crossed for an easy fix. You're not having any numbness, I hope, which is a pretty serious symptom. I've been plagued with what I think is plantar fasciitis for years, and it just started acting up again this week. Heel is so painful it can't bear weight. Very bummed because I've been pretty pain free for close to a year. Have not been to the doctor because it's too expensive. We have insurance, but the deductible is so high, everything is out of pocket, so not affordable anymore.

Hey all! Sorry I have been MIA recently, I have been very busy! We have a new member of the family!

Last week, Meg was acting very oddly and we thought she had a hormonal problem and were planning to take her to the vets on Tuesday. However, when we came home on Monday, a puppy was in her basket with her! He is jet black which definitely narrows down the father options since she is a blonde dog. We have looked at the calendar and he must have been conceived while we were away on holiday when the neighbours were looking after Meg. Hmmm..

We are thinking of calling him Dexter.

I'm struggling to post photos but they will come soon!

She wants to keep chickens in a condo?? Probably didn't know about the blue and green egg thing! You keep your chickens, MC. Jazlyn needs them to gnaw on.

Congrats on the surprise pup, Min! What kind of dog is Meg? One pup seems kind of unusual. Sure everything is okay?

She's an old dog, 10 this year. That's why we didn't think there was a pregnancy - she didn't have a large tummy whatsoever! We rang the vet when we found him and our neighbour is a pug breeder, they both said it was common to only have one pup in older dogs.

She is a non-standard LabraDoodle, - she looks nothing like one but her father was a chocolate poodle and her mother a golden lab. The two contenders for father are a chocolate cockapoo/cockaspaniel and a black Labrador.

So cute! He's (is it a he?) going to get roly-poly with no competition for dinner.

Wow, 10 yr old mama! Hope she is up for the task. Everything around here is spayed or neutered. No pups, no kittens. Maybe a few chicks!

We thought she was infertile! It was bad of us really, we should have gotten her spayed but there was a lot of problems and family issues around the time we got her and sometimes you just lose track. This boy definitely will though! (Yes he is a boy :) )
