Double Trouble.
I got the sister. Someone backed out and I thought Peekie would welcome the company.
It's been really nice. Named her Tweet Berry mainly bc Wrangler wanted to name Peekablue, Tweety...
They love music, especially jazz and classical. There is a man, Geert Chatrou...famous whistler. They bob along to his music, chirping and making garbling sounds.
My goal is to teach them to whistle along and eventually to mimic. Females can talk too...
Peekablue is much more interested in my talking at this point and is fully finger trained.
Tweety is getting there, I "saved" her one day when she stuck her head between mirrors when I was moving them around...stuck for 10 seconds, she might've thought the worst and totally fell for me when I slid the mirror over. She will calm right down if I whistle "My name is James" So cool. She will hang out on my finger, but if I move, she leaves.
And it's still best of all to not brave the elements to take care of them!
Make a list!Thank you!!
I seriously needed eggs. Now that I have them, I can’t remember what I wanted to make just last night!
Of course!Starla the bantam Am is finally laying. I found it in the feed.
