Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I got 24 eggs today, but I am waiting for the day I get 29 which is how many hens I have, sent 10 dozen home to daughters and granddaughters. my daughter comes to visit every other week end so I send some up with her she also gives to people at work, when she goes to work tomorrow first thing one of doc. will ask were are my eggs.
we do have a sign out front fresh eggs for sale.

Yeah, that egg is splotched.
I am getting turkeys soon. One Bb(white if they have it) for this year. Three heritage for the future. Hoping for two girls. Need one boy to fertilize eggs year after year. Don't want genetics to get screwed up! No incest!
Jc, I told the friend ordering that I wanted Blue Slate, second choice Bourbon Red. Third choice Black Spanish. What do you think is the best? I need to make a final decision in a few days.

gilcamp, that day may come... probably more towards the height of summer... I had one perfect day last year when I had 20 layers. when I had 6... I had more perfect days... now I have 38 girls... I'm looking forward to getting 2 dozen... shoo' I am looking forward to getting 1 dozen... lol but that will happen soon enough...

I got a dozen, I got a dozen, I got a dozen... HEY HEY HEY HEY!

LOL.... I was at 11, and Hubby found one laying on the ground outside the run. Everyone has gotten to free-range all weekend, since it was pretty and we were home all weekend! I turned the bedding today, and turned some of the litter in the run...(Its under pines, and they have drug bedding out of the coop as well) I am hoping that if I keep everything turned and moved around in the run, it won't get packed down and I can section off for a "chicken garden bed" inside of the run. I am also hoping to plant a few chicken friendly bushes in there this summer! I am getting excited.... Unfortunately, it isn't supposed to stay this warm...
