W4W- I can't wait to hear (and see) how many you get! I had ordered 2 from MPC but they didn't hatch as many as expected so I got two White Marans instead! I really wanted those cute fluffy butts!!!!

I love those Cochins, bantam or LF... when they grow up, they have such nice shape and tons of fluff... perfect for keeping chickies warm and safe!

I have been very bad about posting pictures. I'm technologically disinclined, so it is taking me waaaay to long to get used to this new computer (an October-how embarrassing- anniversary gift from my dad). Can't figure out how to look at my pics easily like I could on the old laptop. Have I said how much I dislike Windows 8? It's stoooopid.

Haha, I'm even worse about using the new cell phone. I can call people, use the star finder map for astronomy (very cool), and use the driving maps to get from here to there. That's about it. Can't even check my messages. (I don't get many because most people don't know I finally got a cell phone.) Pretty pathetic, I know.

Hoping the adorable fluffy-butted Cochins will inspire me to work through my frustrations, or I'll just ask hubby for help, again.

I can hardly wait for tomorrow!

As I type this my hubs is setting up the password on the cell phone. He is such a good guy.

It all sounds like gobbeldegook to me. I think I was born in the wrong century!

12 quail eggs today! Yep we made a dozen, my grow outs are laying too.
Need to find time to process birds. Just added 28 more chicks tonite.
DH gave me the following for valentines day gift...
We got seafood at my favorite restaurant

and then went to Rural king...28 total!
8 BR pullet
8 RIR pullet
8 WL pullet
4 JG pullet

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. Mom will not do well for the PT after surgery.
We know the date by Monday hopefully. DH is already planning ramps for a wheelchair.
With all both of my parents will have done this year, I already know we will need safer mobility.

You don't have to get all smart about it. I been talking to the younger girls and they agree that until the PIE volume picks up the eggs will remain small and the numbers will certainly drop. So whatever. If I wanted to get nasty I could have called PETA again. You are always up by 5 AM so I didn't think that was too early. BTW.....six straight long blasts continually for several hours means you can go to.... and keep your PIE
