Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I am thinking that the one on the left is cockerel for sure. The one on the right also.

This one I am hoping is a pullet. The one in the back is Little Bit. Hoping for a pullet here also. I think I have a thing for black chickens. I haven't named the Lav yet, just in case it turns out to be a roo. I named Little Bit because it was the first to hatch. 2 days before the others.
eta.... they are 9 weeks old today.

Very pretty chickens! Never had a black chicken...I think they are beautiful. My husband wants a black chicken, next time we get any. Right now I only have room for 6 chickens.

got a new egg basket at a local flea market, and collected 19 Eggs in it. it's gorgeous. I'll show y'all tomorrow... g'night!

Hehe the funny thing is that yorkies don't shed! So no hairy clothes for me!

Hey guys. Same old story around here. No eggs. No squatting. No egg song. Just 12 eyes looking expectantly at me for treats. We went away for 3 days and everyone survived. I had a dream I found a broken egg in the run. It was blue. I predict that my brown layers will pop first. Got some straw for the nest box so will probably open that up in the next week or so to let them check it out. I think they are sufficient acclimated to seeking out their roost at bed time. Yesterday we got home at 6 and I let them out. I was. Curious to see if they would fi e their way into the run and back home st bed time or if they would just find a nice spot outside the run. Nope...found em all on the roost like normal. Good chickens.

Well.... One of my 9 week old cockerels is trying to crow. It sounded pretty good. It is time to rehome.
