Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

We stayed at a horrible motel there last time we went. Horrible.

It is a very expensive place even during the off season.

Very good restaurants though.

I like to stay at the Lighthouse Lodge and cottages. Kinda spendy, but I ask for a room next to the cemetery. Odd, yes, but beautiful. One block to the beach and free off the menu breakfast. Oh yeah. Free bbq in the evenings.

Yeah....out budget doesn't allow for spendy accommodations lol.

NO EGGS TODAY. What in the heck.

Another 5 eggs day and it's only 2:30. But.... it's only 2:30.

I got 3 eggs today, kinda disappointing, and Gossy is hiding way way in the back of her dogloo, trying to be invisible so I won't take the eggs she's hoarding. I have to tho'... she can't be hatching babies in subzero temps. no matter how much of a precious little Mama that she is...

I was hoping that Thurs. and Fri would be short days for me, it was how I was scheduled anyway... but the PM of another office asked me to fill in for the rest of the week... so I said yes and headed to the feed store today. picked up 3 bales of straw and 50 lbs of millet. everyone has nice deep fresh bedding all around and we'll have their favorite snack for the next few weeks... I'm bummed tho'. I wanted my afternoons with them for a change.

it's so cold, everything is encased in ice.

And if you can't do it right, at least do it Crazy. I set up my skimmer today so now it is busily producing concentrated fish poop for me. Yuck.
