I'm so over babies. I feel like I've had some sort of baby on property the whole year. Which I have!!! I've got babies coming in April.

Who else is getting or hatching babies this spring????

Hey all, I haven't been posting because I don't have any news, still no eggs from Peggy or Selma, it makes me sad every time I post it :/ but one day guys, I will find a pleasant suprize in the nest box (if they don't turn out to be boys which I'm suspecting btw) and you won't be able to shut me up so, enjoy the tranquility while it lasts, hopefully it won't last long!

but! some are standard, and some are bantam.

the friend I am getting them from has lots of awesome breeds tho'... sure to have some Cochin in the mix. I'll know more on Sunday.

it's supposed to snow tomorrow, but I just caught the news and it looks like we're in the 1-3" zone. east of me will get hammered with 4-12".

So today, I saw on of my bantams (I have two) in the nesting box, settled in for the long run. Never did find an egg her size, so maybe it was just a dry run. Also...Tomorrow I go to pick up two chicks. They are Silver Gray Dorkings, which I believe are about 2 weeks old now. So exciting!!!!!

FIVE!!! yesterday....

We are busy ripping up carpets and drying the floor.

We think that it is black water form the septic backing up due to roots in the pipe. Its a poopy job, but it has to be done.

I'm too old and tired for this.
