Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

mine have been given s 29 to 32 eggs a day for 4 days so i gave them all a pie, my new chickens did not act like they have ever had one, when i walk in the yard mine jump in the pan before i get to put it down, the new chickens did not come running for it, i gave them in the coop so they got to eat it alone i can not wit till next time i make it to see what they do.

Congrats on all the eggs!
My broodies didn't growl.
I can't keep up with dh's extended family, but I can tell you I cried half the morning simply feeling for the family of this sweet baby girl. Not yet 3-months-old (born November 18th) she passed yesterday.

Like I said, I don't even think I have met the grandmother, and I know I haven't met the mother. Just that they are relatives of relatives, and it is so sad anyone should lose a child.

MC, I am so sorry for you, and for that dear one's close family. I can't imagine what they are dealing with right now. Sending prayers...

Me! I want a cruise, only somewhere sunny though ;)

I'm so sorry about the death of the baby :( What caused it, I hope the cutie wasn't in pain, RIP my thoughts go to all the family at this sad time x

Very sad about the baby girl.

So easy to get caught up in everyday life and take for granted the truly important things. Count your blessings.

Ooo, a cruise! You guys in the east must be getting really sick of winter.

I wouldn't care where the cruise went, as long as I didn't have to cook and do dishes. That would be bliss.

My hen with the prolapse got worse yesterday so I put her down. Hatchery birds are just turning 3 yrs and I have lost 3 out of 9. It will be interesting to see if the Ameraucanas from the breeder will be longer lived.
