Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Mortie, I'm definitely in your camp when it comes to the kids. I enjoy every milestone reached and every ounce of independence gained because it means I'm doing right by my boys. I did have an episode of baby pangs when my youngest was about 18 months and got his first haircut. The pangs only lasted about 4 hours. I'm an older mom, and having a 3rd baby was not really a choice since it came with so many added risks. For me, the traumatic pregnancy was the first one. Second baby was much less worrying. Having son#2 was the best thing that ever happened to son#1, and even as bickering teenagers they have an appreciation for each other.

Have to admit, though, that I'll jump at any chance I get to hold and smell and pet a baby. It's like they're magnetic or something. It's not too hard to give them back.

And I still love to look at baby pictures!

You know they have left the cute little kid stage when they stop counting their age in fractions when people ask them how old they are, it goes from I'm 6 and three quarters to I'm 14 with a hint of early teen attitude.

Lazy is when you want to make chicken nuggets for dinner, but you boil the meat instead. One involved a pot and water. The other meant getting out a cutting board, cutting the meat, moistening the meat, coating it in whatever breading I put together. Then baking it. Too many dishes!!
