I understand about hand-me-downs, most of my clothes were given to me or are thrift store finds. Right now I am spoiled with a very nice phone.

I have a variation on the PB recipe and totally agree w MC that they are so much better homemade.

3 c powdered sugar
2 c graham cracker crumbs
1 c PB (I use skippy)
Mix and add 2 tsp vanilla and 2 sticks melted butter.
Roll, freeze for a bit and dip in choc (I use semi sweet over a double boiler and have no need for the extra Crisco).

Min, peanut butter and root beer are things we enjoy from childhood and most Brits don't like them at all, especially the root beer! Think we have far more on common, though!

I am waiting to hear from hubby. He was due at the SF airport half an hour ago after 10 days in China (again). Probably just trying to get through customs so he can catch the first bus up here. But sure wish he's call!

Never had pnut butter!!! Omg!! I assumed everywhere had that. But it's the same as vegemite, most Aussies are raised on it, most (but not all) enjoy it but the rest of the world gag at the thought.
