Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Speaking of Monterey, I was born in Fort Ord. Monterey Bay is one of the most beautiful places in the Nation.
5 of my hens are now laying. Smoke is the only one who has not yet laid this year. But.... she gets a pass. She is 5 years old now and is the only original hen left.
Egg check.

I got one egg today. and it's from a bantam. one. and there's no place they can get to that I don't already know about and check daily. it's okay, I got a dozen and a half yesterday, so I'm just mookin'.

my knee is doing well, all things considered, but it still cracks when I bend it, which now freaks me out. it's cracked since I was 10... and it's not the same part of the knee that was operated on, so I don't know why it surprises me or freaks me out, but it does...

I haven't spoken much on this thread recently apart from a few comments here and there.

To be honest, I haven't been feeling great recently but I'm getting much better.

I don't have much chicken news, they are laying well and happy.

I took my dogs for a long walk a couple of days ago and had a great time. The puppy has grown so much and keeps Meg on her toes as she ages.

Another beautiful day. The morning was cold (27 Degrees) and sunny. I got some chores done this morning, but pooped out by 11 in the morning. Right now, there is dog food cooking and i have been on BYC trying to figure out the best meat chicks to buy.

@cheeka my knees crack too. Whenever I walk up stairs. Kinda sounds like a pepper grinder.
