LOL! I actually have three Pekin in the incubator with my SPR. I think they are clear, but they shouldn't be, so I am hoping I am too stupid to tell with duck eggs.

15 more weeks until my older chicks lay... The pullets anyway!

day 24! it's a BR x EE. should (if it's a pullet) lay a pale green egg! still 2 more eggs under this one and all 3 are still under Gossy. I'll give it 2 more days. it's chilly. only in the low 50's at the warmest part of the day.

just back from the big city hospital ER, where they talked about a very rare condition called auto brewery syndrome. so now, I'm on a no sugar, ultra low carb diet as well as gluten free, because... well... google it. it's disturbing. I have to take an antifungal med to kill any sugars so my body doesn't produce alcohol and make me drunk from eating. greeeaaat.

Never heard of that. Terrble. Leaves you steak and salad. Paleo diet. Glad you have an answer, but why did it take the ER to diagnose you? Good to be home I bet.

Just read about it. Not a lot of ready info. If you get rid of the yeast, will that solve the problem permanently? Says candida is carrier for the "pathogen" but not exactly what type of pathogen it is. Might relieve the depression symptoms. You have had more than your share of health troubles. Hope this means MS is off the table.

Why don't you want to get drunk from eating? Cheeka, your problems don't sound like problems to me!

The serious question to me is, how can you restrict your diet anymore than it is?

They discovered the hose yesterday.
One has been lagging behind. I decided a few hours ago that it might need more niacin.
