Should I buy or NO?

it looks a little under feathered(usually roosters feather in slower), but the comb is small and pink. Its hard to say, but I would guess pullet

I'd say that it is a cockerel. The feathering is pretty sparse for a five week old, and the comb is too red and large for a five week old pullet.

I'm no expert for sure, but wanted to say I had some orps and was on the fence about whether they was a roo among them..a couple people swore one was a roo..well 'he' is a 'she'..her feathering was slow, and looked like the one above at around that age..So my guess on yours is girl...Mine had BIG feet to.

I have 4 from this same batch and wanted 1 more. I have had mine since 2 weeks old and I just asked last night if there were anymore she still had. This is what she sent me for pics. It looks a lot different than all of mine-including a roo. So I am a little confused ?????

Mine don't have the combs that large yet

This is my last batch of orps,,the 2 lavs above and the lemon cuckoo bottom. They were around 4 wks old from my estimate,,the one on the top left people swore was a roo..She's not,,here they are below. (they are all girls by the way)Below they are 10 wks old

The comb on that baby is as big as or most likely bigger than the comb on my 11 week old buff orp pullet.. I would vote cockerel.

So what I am gathering is mixed. 2 for male, 2 for female. Oh boy........Anyone else????

Based on those pictures I would vote male right now. Can she send you more pictures of the chick with better head shots?

I can try to get her to send more. I think I got a roo in my first batch and don't want another. I am probably going to turn this one down. Not worth my money on the chance
