Sorry but that is not what I mean. The different back angle could be odd because you are not used to it. Example my sebrights have really high raised chest.
oh yeah I know that but like laying them on their back and seeing which leg they extend
 
there's a little scab under my chicks butt I've read that it's where the umbilical cord was. what should I do and should I be concerned
 
Well I wouldn't say property...
In other words, if you own or are responsible for the care of the chicken, you can pretty much do what you want with it, subject to local restrictions. However, in some places, there are restrictions about selling the chicken.

Example 1: caponizing is illegal in Austria and perhaps Germany, but is permitted in most other countries including France, China, Spain, the United States, etc. Farmers in Spain sell recovered capons for 14 Euros. (Spanish).

Example 2: Selling dyed baby chicks is illegal in California, Ohio, and a number of other states, but there is no problem with dyeing a chicken on your own farm that you do not intend to sell.
