Should I clean shelf liner before putting it in incubator?

It's brand new from the store, but just wondering if I should wash it off/sanitize the shelf liner I got for the eggs I'm incubating. They will be starting lockdown today, and I want them to have a nice grip for when they hatch out. I know you have sanitize anything added like thermometers, so I'm leaning towards cleaning it, just not sure what to use. I was thinking clorox wipes, then soap and water.

I would definitely clean it. You never know what has touched it. People with dirty hands, been on the floor, etc. Never hurts to clean!
