Should I cluck or crow..........

My 6 month old Silkie frets a bit differently than the rest of flock when a flockmate is ready to lay an egg. Puna ,the chook in question has a slight bump ,for lack of a better word on top of beak. My others in flock do not have it. Puna has far as I can tell does not have spurs(yet?) Puna also bows "her"head low to threaten others of "she" wants etc. I have what I think is the leader a red Silkie (Pele) She does the same thing. Neither one of them of course indicate even a start of a crow sound. Pele seems a bit quieter when one of the 2 egglayers is getting ready to nest to lay her egg.My question is: could one or the other be a roo? Pele did hold down one of the egg layers briefly in front of me to dominate her,I have not seen that repeated just yet. I do not have a functioning camera .Does any silkie owners have pictures that show their roos so I can take a look at them as well. Mine are 24 weeks old.Also Pele does make ready nesting circle like the 2 layers.

I hate the time difference as it appears when I am on most are 5 hours ahead of me and at days end..Does anyone have any pictures etc?

I wonder do you have a roo already that u know is a roo? If you have no roos these girls are determining who is the dominate female and while you can have eggs without a roo some of the ladies will take it upon themselves to play the part and on silkies I don't know how to tell if they are roos but my polish roo I knew he was roo by eight weeks old he was very bold and he was crowing at five months before all the other breeds his age .
