should i cull

i have one of 13 blue laced red wyandotte chicks that keeps scratching its head. its starting to draw blood. also its about half the size of the others. it is eating and drinking. this little one has had a few problems since i got it. should i just cull it? i have no way to separate it from the others. ps it does not have mites or any thang i can see for it to be scratching

I would try cutting its nails with a very small pair of scissors, see if that helps. It sounds like it might just not be right.
