Should I focus on a different breed?

Thanks for the input guys! After pricing out how much these guys would cost me shipped as live chicks.. Well. I'll try to hatch some from my leftover two first. Hopefully I can buy some as hatching eggs from other breeders in the next few years.

After spending some more time after the loss with the two I have left, I still want to give them a go. I do love the breed despite my losses. I'm worried about genetic diversity, but I guess the best thing to do is to hatch some out and see before I waste time second guessing myself. If I get an incubator sent 2 day shipping I may have two viable eggs from the hen that passed away.

HMM. @aart , would you recommend the Hovabator then? I was looking at a Harris 360 that's 130 near me and I could get today but I like the price of the Hovabator better... is it worth the extra wait you think? I know the two eggs I have are a stretch as-is...

The link is for an Incuview. I know nothing about Hovabator or Harris.
The website shows several hovabators and the incuview on their black friday sale--that's why I mentioned it. Well I guess I should ask--do you think the Incuview would be worth a few extra days at 60 or so room temp?

Oh, sorry...didn't actually click the link  this is how I bought my Incuview a couple years ago.

Not sure what you mean by this "Incuview would be worth a few extra days at 60 or so room temp?"

Ahhhh I gotcha!

Well my options are get a Harris incubator today or wait 3-4 days for the incuview to ship--and in those 3-4 days the eggs wait. They were laid Thursday and friday so they're a bit old as is... They've been at room temp since. It's been around 60. If I'd known I would have refrigerated them but, oh well.

So they'd be at about 10 days old, probably would be fine....but your call.
