Should I get a Conure? Help!

If you get another whats gonna stop him from killing this one?

She said in her first post she got a restraining order against him. . so hopefully he will stay away

I think that you should definitely get another conure! In fact, maybe you could get a conure from someone who can't take care of theirs, or is in the same situation that you were? I haven't gone through the same experience as you so I wouldn't know, but that might help yourself and another bird. Also, for Galah, just try not to take them out at the same time and keep the cages as far away from each other as possible.

I think it comes down too you having enough time to give each bird enough attention. Birds can be funny with needing or not needing attention. If they require alot and dont get it then things/their health can go bad quickly and usually its not noticed early enough for quick recovery.
Also do you have to room to keep them from seeing each other if Galah isn't taking to another bird being nearby?
