I received a lone hens yesterday(she is a 9m white Leghorn) I'm hating the fact that she's alone I'm getting what was supposed to be my first pullets (6 of them in February) so should I find another hen her age or just wait on the babies(I'm not sure exactly when in February the local store and or tsc will have them I'm buying them the day they come in though)and they will be inside for 6 weeks

Chickens are generally social animals and normally don't do well alone. Plus with her being older than the pullets you plan on getting, she may pick on them right away till a pecking order is established. So definitely would suggest keeping them separate til they are a couple months old. Hope this helps
