I have an opportunity to get 4 magpie and 4 white call ducks with a 4x8 pen for a pretty good price. Owner was a breeder who worked on show quality, but she is selling out to focus on horses instead of poultry.
But I heard the eggs are hard to hatch and the duck hens only give 25-75 eggs per year.
Feed bill probably wouldn't be too much, but are they worth adding one more pen of poultry to my quickly growing farm? They would need to make me some money.
Thanks
